"Merhamet" (Compassion) Turkish Drama Storyline

 "Merhamet" (Compassion) is a Turkish drama series that originally aired from 2013 to 2014. The series follows the life of a young woman named Narin, portrayed by Özgü Namal, whose life takes a drastic turn after a traumatic incident.


Narin comes from a poor family and lives with her parents and siblings. Despite their financial struggles, they lead a content life. However, everything changes when Narin is raped by a wealthy young man named Firat, played by İbrahim Çelikkol. Devastated and ashamed, Narin's family decides to move away to start anew and shield Narin from further trauma.


Years later, Narin has grown into a strong and resilient woman. She works hard to support her family and has put the past behind her as best as she can.
